Three things every equivalent-ratio graph shows
📏 A straight lineThe points line up. Each step right goes up by the same amount.
🎯 It starts at the originThe line goes through (0, 0). Zero sundaes need zero ounces of sauce.
1️⃣ The unit rate pointThe point (1, r) shows the amount for one. For sundaes it is (1, 2): 2 ounces for 1
sundae.

The laser always fires from the origin (0, 0). You set its ratio: how far right for how far up. A beam hits every crystal whose coordinates make an equivalent ratio. Take your time — there is no clock.

Find the hidden fleet with ratio reasoning
A fleet of subs hides along a secret ratio line that starts at the origin. Ping a spot: sonar says HIT, or tells you if the fleet's line runs above or below it. Once you know one sub, you can figure out the ratio — call it to reveal the whole fleet.
