multiply

Level 1 To add the same number many times to find a total.

Example: 3 ร— 4 means add 3 four times: 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 12.

group

Level 1 A set of things you put or count together.

Example: Put the marbles in 2 equal groups of 5.
