Example: To compare 1/2 and 2/3, use a common denominator of 6.
Level 1 Fractions that look different but show the same amount.
Example: 1/3 = 2/6 β multiply top and bottom by 2.
Level 1 When one amount is bigger than another. The symbol is >.
Example: 5 > 3 means 5 is greater than 3.
Level 1 When one amount is smaller than another. The symbol is <.
Example: 2 < 4 means 2 is less than 4.
