About this curriculum

For district adoption committees, state review panels, publishers, and colleagues: how the Grade 6 course is sequenced, what a lesson looks like, and how it connects to classroom platforms. Students and families start at the curriculum page.

Course sequence, 2026–27

Units are taught in the order of the district's 2026–27 scope and sequence, not in unit number order. The list below is read from the same pacing plan the curriculum page uses, so its order and dates cannot drift from it.

  1. The sequence loads from the pacing plan. See every unit and its lessons.

What a lesson looks like

Every core lesson moves through the same taught order: Vocabulary → Launch → Learn It → Explore → Practice → Connect. Each lesson pairs its math standard with a language objective, and supported (small-group) and catch-up versions of the lesson follow the same path.
