Tonight we write the same value three ways: as a fraction, as a decimal, and as a percent. They all name the same amount.
A fraction, a decimal, and a percent can all be equal. To turn a fraction into a percent, divide the top number by the bottom number, then multiply by 100.

Divide numerator by denominator: 3 ÷ 4 = 0.75. That is the decimal form.
